1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any request for estimates, quotes, or services provided by EasyPatch. By using our website, submitting a request, or hiring us to perform services, you agree to these Terms.
2. SERVICES & SCOPE OF WORK
Our services may include drywall repair, ceiling repair, crack and seam repair, water damage drywall repair (after the source is fixed), texture matching, drywall installation, and related finishing work.
The exact scope of work, pricing, and timeline will be defined in your written estimate, quote, proposal, invoice, or work order (“Proposal”). If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Proposal, the Proposal controls for that specific project.
3. ESTIMATES, PRICING & SITE CONDITIONS
- Quotes/estimates are based on the information available at the time (including photos provided, measurements, and visible conditions).
- Pricing may change if scope changes, hidden conditions are discovered, access differs from what was described, or additional repairs are required to complete the work properly.
- Unless explicitly included in the Proposal, pricing does not include remediation of pre-existing conditions (for example: mold remediation, rot/structural repairs, code violations, hazardous materials, or other trades).
- Paint is typically not included unless explicitly stated. Standard delivery is a clean, paint-ready finish.
4. SCHEDULING & ACCESS
To perform services, the client agrees to provide:
- Safe access to the work area and reasonable workspace
- Utilities as needed (power, lighting, and water if applicable)
- Parking/access instructions (and elevator/entry codes if applicable)
- A safe environment (including securing pets and moving fragile/valuable items away from the work zone)
We may pause or reschedule work if conditions are unsafe or access is not available.
5. PAYMENTS
Payment terms are defined in your Proposal.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Small jobs may be due in full upon completion.
- Larger projects may require a deposit before scheduling or mobilization, with the remaining balance due upon completion or at agreed milestones.
- We may require payment before ordering materials or beginning work.
- Past-due balances may be subject to reasonable late fees as permitted by law.
Accepted payment methods (if applicable) will be stated in your Proposal or invoice.
6. CHANGE ORDERS (SCOPE CHANGES)
Any change to scope, materials, repair size, texture requirements, layout, or schedule must be approved in writing (a “Change Order”). Change Orders may adjust pricing and/or timelines.
7. MATERIALS & MATCHING LIMITATIONS
- Drywall texture matching and paint-ready finishing involve natural variations (texture pattern, lighting, existing paint sheen, age of materials).
- We aim for the closest match possible, but perfect matching cannot be guaranteed in every scenario—especially where surrounding surfaces are aged, repainted multiple times, or inconsistently textured.
- If the client supplies materials, EasyPatch is not responsible for defects, delays, or performance issues from those materials.
8. PERMITS & CODE / OTHER TRADES
We follow applicable standards and best practices for drywall and finishing work.
If permits, inspections, or licensed trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) are required, responsibility will be identified in the Proposal.
Our scope generally focuses on drywall and finishing unless otherwise stated.
9. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
- If you cancel after we have purchased materials, reserved labor, or mobilized, you may be responsible for incurred costs (materials, restocking fees, and labor/time already committed).
- Reschedules are subject to availability and may impact timeline.
10. WARRANTY
EasyPatch provides a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of completion, covering defects in workmanship for the scope we performed.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, neglect, impact damage, or water intrusion after completion
- Movement/settling of the structure beyond normal expectations
- Work altered by others, including repainting that causes visible “flashing” or finish differences
- Manufacturer defects in materials not supplied by us
- Acts of nature (storm damage, flooding, etc.)
Warranty service is limited to repair or rework of the affected area within the original scope, as determined by EasyPatch.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- EasyPatch’s total liability for any claim related to the project is limited to the amount paid to us for the specific services that gave rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (such as loss of use, lost profits, or alternative lodging).
12. PHOTOS & PORTFOLIO
With client consent, we may take photos/videos of completed work for our portfolio, website, and marketing.
We will not intentionally include personal information such as names, mail, or addresses in published content.
13. COMMUNICATIONS & SMS POLICY
By providing your contact information and requesting a quote or service, you authorize EasyPatch to contact you by phone, SMS/text message, and email for:
- Scheduling, estimates, and project updates

- Follow-ups and customer service

14. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform due to events beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, supplier shortages, illness, utility outages, or other force majeure events. Timelines will be adjusted reasonably when such events occur.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Venue for disputes, where applicable, will be in DuPage County, Illinois.
16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
The Proposal (including any Change Orders) together with these Terms constitutes the entire agreement for the project and supersedes prior discussions or communications related to the same scope of work.
